ADHD Coaching
We empower those with ADHD to harness their unique strengths, navigate emotions and executive functions, and thrive in both personal and professional spheres.
How is ADHD a life transition? The typical path of discovery in ADHD is to get diagnosed and offered medication. That's it. Whatever is right for you for medication, there is so much more. If you start peeling the onion that is neurodivergence, you begin to see how ADHD has affected every aspect of your life from your relationships to work to how you process information to fidgeting and pacing to thousands of other ways. And then it hits you... shame. You may not have realized how much shame the world has thrown at you from your earliest memories.
We're here to help you:
- Learn Emotional Regulation: You may have heard of Executive Functioning. Did you know there are specific executiove functions? OneThe one that often affects ADHDers the most is Emotional Regulation. It's amazing what happens when you learn to master it.
- Start to Focus on What You Want: People talk about Time Management and you've probably seen you can manage time like you can hold water in a sieve. Our brains function differently than neurotypicals and we need our own tools to master our focus.
- Forming New Habits: Have you tried to form new habits and not been able to? Yes, we've all been there. With strategies and accountability, we've helped clients get on a path where tokeep them most of the time. That's right, we admit that we can't guarantee results plus you're going to miss days or parts of a routine and that's OK. We practice shame-free coaching and encourage our clients to be kind coaches to themselves.
